For those interested in traditional Japanese dance, this July gives you a chance to see a performance of the traditional Okinawan Eisa dance. It is not like any other dance, its costumes, the drumming and the movements are very different from the ones you see in other festivals in Japan. About one million people are expected to see this rather rare event.
